- Melisa (2:54) (C. Morgan / V. Buggy)
SLEEVE NOTES:
Among the Paul Mauriat Grand Orchestra's many hits, there are three type: movie theme songs such as "The Gottfather" and "Love Story," so-called pop songs such as the recent big hits "El Bimbo" and "Love is Blue," and classical-style songs such as "Nocturne" and "Toccata." It has already been more than 10 years since his records were first released in Japan, and during this time, we have noticed that these types of songs have been sent to the hit charts one after another in a truly splendid manner. The song introduced here was recorded in the fall of 1975, just before Paul Mauriat left France for a tour in Japan, and is an original composition by Paul Mauriat himself, reminiscent of Mozart.
The B-side, "Melisa," was a hit song by Enrico Macias in the summer of 1975, composed by Claude Morgan, who wrote "El Bimbo," which became a big hit for Paul Mauriat.
