In the fall of 1974, Paul Mauriat toured Japan for the fifth time with great success. At that time, I learned that the world's first "Paul Mauriat Fan Association" had been formed in Japan, and I took time out of my busy schedule to have a pleasant chat with the main members of the association. The ... title of "El Bimbo"....... is the name of a new dance. The lyrics and music were written by Claude Morgan, a 32-year-old French genius who made his debut as a singer and songwriter in 1968.
