The Festival de Mallorca, Spain, was organized from 1964 and there were around 7 editions.

 

In 1975 the jury was composed of Henry Mancini (jury president), Sammy Cahn, Jorge Arandes, Narciso Ibáñez Serrador, Juan Carlos Calderón, Carlos Ansalde, Taki Katoh and Jaime Enseñat Velasco. Paul Mauriat composed and conducted the song Elle Arrive Aujourd'hui (She Arrives Today) which won the First Prize which was performed by John Gabilou.

 

After the songs were instrumental arrangements performed by the orchestra by Bert Kaempfert, Henry Mancini, Augusto Martinelli, Paul Mauriat, Les Reed, Helmut Zacharias, Sammy Cahn, Juan Carlos Calderón, Harry Groot, Augusto Algueró and Waldo de los Ríos.
