Paul Mauriat Grand Orchestra in Japan concert - FM FAN Magazine 19769

Easy Listening Champion Paul Mauriat has just arrived in Japan with his Grand Orchestra.

The orchestra became known around the world with the big hit of "Love Is Blue" last year, but it is especially noteworthy that if the mood music fan base has expanded to middle teens, it is because of him. Paul Mauriat was born in Marseille and is 44 years old. He has a charm not only as a conductor but also as an arranger with a new sense, and at this performance in Japan, he showed a lot of fun with the "French sound" created by combining various kinds of musical instruments. The songs are "Love is Blue", "Lara's Theme" and "Mrs. Robinson".
